MMOCC project name?

In the past few weeks I have been toying with a few ideas for MMOCCs, we arent talking about small projects like my old one. I am talking full scale MMOCC. Originally I was going to create one called Kokku no oni which is Japanese for 'land of demons', but I discarded that because I felt the main MMOCC market is 11-13 and it is maybe abit too 'mature' for that age group. So instead I browsed the internet looking at successful professionaly made console games as most of the current MMOCCs seem to be completely different to them. Then I saw Final Fantasy 3 DS, the style is perfect for an MMOCC, its light happy and has a great aura around it. The game I am intending to create will be cell shaded vector graphics with a more 'adventurey' feel than other MMOCCs where it isnt just about visiting other peoples rooms because I am also going to add a few MMORPG elements such as Dungeons to get money etc.

Now I have the background idea I need a name, something short and snappy that sounds adventurous but not tacky, No 'adventure zone' etc please. Also the domain has to be available. I estimate that this project will be completed by Q4 2008, all coding will be done by me mainly from June - Septemeber when I am off after my GCSEs, I will be hireing independent vector artists and maybe doing abit myself, the artists will be supplied with rough drawings such as the one below.

1. I coded and owned zetolic, 6 months pure MMOCC coding experience.
2. It is in no way like club tropica? It isnt even 3D, Do you know what a vector is?
3. The MMOCC business is booming at the moment. With social network sites like facebook, myspace etc virtual communications and chatrooms are more accepted now.

Darren if anyone critisizes your stuff you shout at them for 'putting you down', why do it to me when I have way more experience than you. Oh wait I know its because of what I said to you after you pmed kyle with your long message about how you can turn zetolic around and you are (I quote) an 'MMOCC guru'.

For those who dont know :p Vecotor is a mathmaticaly genorated image so it dosnt get pixelized when you zoom in (i recon i made some new words up there ^^)

What about vkrzone (to me like Vecotor zone but more catchey)

and would you be designing the 'people' in Flash or illustrator (sorry i can't spell to save my life) as i beleive illustrator is vector? (of course flash is been at it for 4 year is should know)

Club tropica wasnt originlly going to be 3d (it was going to be 2.5d)
He's made mmoccs before he knew about club tropica so he cant be copying :rolleyes:

On topic: If the whole mmocc is like the pic on the front then i doubt its going to load very fast, unless thats one of the "high quality" images that go on the site?

Na it was just a rough sketch. The actual graphics will be more like this although this was a quick design and is way too big.

He said he is going to run the MMOCC on his own 100%, and not have a staff team. I said this would not work.

No ClubTropica have copied every other 3D game out there. Like IMVU, Second Life and There. ClubTropica will fail, as they are relying on Habbo suck ups who loved to lick Callie's backside for rares. Which won't work, maybe for a start.

By not listening to ANYTHING we say on this Forum about his work he has already failed at becomming a web designer as that is the main thing you HAVE to do as a web developer (take in opinions). Just because someone said something is good doesn't mean it actually is. So what if they are deemed 'professionals'? How does that make them any better at giving an opinion on something than us?

I couldn't agree more. Wasn't ClubTropica supposed to be released in November? They're already missing crucial targets, what does that say for their organisation.

It looks like you have some fantastic design skills, hopefully you will be able to manage the technical side and create a fantastic MMOCC ;)

So there will be a fire zone etc. So think of names based around that.
