Okay, when I turned seventeen I got a letter in the post saying I could now give blood, and I told my mom who is doing it in a few weeks but she wasn't sure of the age. Is it aged 17 to give blood?

I'm about 95% sure it's 18. I'm doing it on my 18th birthday.

It is definitely 17, 'cos I registered to give blood when I was 16 but got letters saying they would give me details on where to go when I am eligible, at 17.
