Yes in many ways, you have to manipulate shapes and texture everything. You physically construct in in the program, put textures on them and then spent time rendering it.

Pixel art is just drawing dots at a time.

Sucky Pixel art can be complicated too aswell.

Using just MS paint, the average person can't make anything really...
It takes a LOT of skill to make amazing pixel art.

This is great! If I have to give some criticism/advice then you should give the bird bath more texture, like it is on habbo and make it look more like a traditional stone birdbath. Also some texture on the screen, it looks like glass!
But apart from that way better than what I could do, a 3D alt of a bird bath for me would be so bad, I couldnt even start to make it 2D

look, the original alts were posted in June 2007 (http://habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=365505)

I have reformatted twice since then, installed 6 different OS's since then (Sabayon, Fedora, Hackintosh OSX, Win98, Vista) so it's long gone. Infact 3DS Max 9 works very poorely in Vista which saddens me a bit :(

I have actually managed to fix 3DS now, I just switched the viewport from Direct 3d and openGL to software. It doesn't look as good but I can see what I'm doing now :)
