Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people?

ok, well I was reading some weird facts websites, and I found on one 'Righthanded people live, on average, 9 years longer than than left-handed people'
Does anyone have any sources of anything to back this up? I want to know if its true or not, I'm a leftie and I want to know xD

In an average class of 30, there are 2 left handers, at most.

There are quite a few lefties in my class. PLUS a load of my teachers are lefties.

As for all my fellow lefties who are scared, it's just a statistic. I wouldn't worry myself over it. You never know, if we eat healthier than those damn righties, we could reverse the statistic!
