Woahh, that's really good for your first layout, the only thing I can point out that I don't really care for is the nav text is aligned to the left of the boxes, I would prefer them centered or aligned right. And also the top banner is a bit small. But that's just my opinion, other than that - very good =).

Edit - Oh yeah, and now that I look at it, the circle in the Ipod looks a little too dark, it might look better a bit lighter so you can see it better. ;) And to the right of the radio player there looks like a repeating box, I'm not sure what that's all about?

lol the repeating box is cause i started coding the whole thing but i deleted the layout at first so i decided to just take a screen shot of it.

So i have to edit that lol

I thought it was pretty good for my first layout (and on paint O.o) but i needed suggestions to improve it :)

The coding bit might explain the random scrollbar at the bottom :)

And for the Ipod I suck at drawing them on paint so i decided to make a pretty simple Ipod

ur layout is quite good for a starter :)
however one thing i would recomend is that u go on like Paint.Net & use the Sharpen effect
at lvl 3 to make the shade more authentic and more valueable to users

Ideas are fine to take, just make sure you make it your own. Although, I really don't like the ipod. Its definitely a nice 1st layout though good job!

Hey.

Nice design for your first attempt. Ignore people saying you are ripping other iPods, because they obviously don't know anything about design and how honestly everything on the web is related to another thing. Web design is all about inspiration, that's what keeps it going along with creativity. :)

Have you got Photoshop? You should get the trial, or even get Gimp / Paint.NET and try them out to create graphics, there is a lot of tutorials out there, so it shouldn't be to hard to get used to it. Just look around other fansites and find something that catches your eye from each of them and use those ideas to find your own.
