I think the top suits a hosting design as I've seen the idea used many times.

I just need to re-do the content area which I've been thinking about. ("I might change a bit later, but meh.").

In my opinion, people who say "it doesn't look like a hosting layout" are stupid. So? As long as it isn't like a pink-on-green colour scheme, it shouldn't matter if the layout fits into a style. If someone is going to your site, they are obviously aware of what it is for - why do you need to make the layout conform to a particular style?

That being said, very nice layout Invent. Love the use of a single stripe of green to give it some life :)

I like the header alot, but the search box might aswell just be a default browser one instead of that, I also like the special offers area you've made a good job of that but everything under it offers very little to the eye, the body is all white and the text is always black.

And as many people have said it doesn't really seem like a hosting layout.

When I buy hosting from a site, I like to see a picture of a server. Don't ask me why, just something that my brain makes me want to buy it more from them. As then it looks like a host, other than just a website. If you get my drift...
