Bruters are programs designed to get either the d.o.b or the password of habbos.
Basically you enter a password and it goes through every habbo ever made, trying that password each time. Same for date of birth one.

so if I was to put 'yousmell123' as the password it would check every habbo and actually tell me >.<??

Hmm..

Yes but this is only for the DOB, you need the password and the username first.

But yeh, your safe if you have a decent password.

How does it actually get into the habbo server because if thye can get into the server then that means rigging dice is also possible. ;l

I think they are two completely different things. I'm not an expert at this so don't take my word but i think a login is different from a random sequence on a dice. The only way dice's were ever rigged in Habbo was by speeding up your computer with certain programs. When you did this Habbo ran faster so you would see the number on the dice way before anyone else, you could therefore roll it again before the number came up on their screen and then do this as many times as you wanted.

Ok, DOB bruters were never gone because account bruters were only "gone" because of the introduction of captcha sessions (security codes) on failed login attempts. DOB bruters work once you're already logged in so there's no need for any security.

As for the thing about why it looks like a cmd prompt, thats just because its a simple GUI. its also coded in Python. :)

So say they search... HAPPY... It would tell them everyones password who was HAPPY??

If it was a password bruter, yeah. But there's a captcha or w.e now so I dont think thats possible

this ones a DOB bruter, so you need the password

Habbo staff ( coders and people who make it so ' secure ' )... Realy need to step up a gear..

I dont like the sound of these programes ;(
Its stupid.. You can tell these people are poor ... They dont buy there own credits.. They steal other peoples!

09-12-2007, 02:45 PM
You could put it that way, but why would they pay if they could get it for free?

Naythi.
09-12-2007, 02:48 PM
Maybe because its out of order... Illegal??

And yeah.. Im pritty sure habbo have ways of finding out the people behind this by tracking the computers stuff blah blah blah

Like with that 17 year old or how ever old he was who got arrested... What ever happened to that guy?

Lol this is ridiculous, That is not what you are referring to as a "bruter" This is simply a blank cmd prompt screen. For instance there is no field of letters and numbers or the server ip for the names database.

If you lot are silly enough to believe this, Im not surprised so many accounts get compromised so easily.

1. It is, from wiki:

" a brute force attack is a method of defeating a cryptographic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptographic) scheme by trying a large number of possibilities"

It tries to get the date, so it's bruting.

2. It's a compiled python application, so it's run from the cmd prompt.
3. It's a day of birth - bruter, ever heard of those?
4. What?

And it's a real program, made by Jacob @ S-o-m.

If you do get hacked from a bruter, its habbos fault for not protecting you? They should put there thinking caps on now.

Grah stop panicking, I also don't see why this thread was made. They've never gone away, it's just creating false panic.

To get into people's Habbo accounts you need their login name and password, you cannot brute this anymore. Bruters repetitively keep trying all the possible solutions, but on Habbo if you get the password wrong 5 times, it will come up with 'Captcha' also known as 'Number verification' most the time. You know where you have to type the numbers in the image when you get a PW wrong or when signing up somewhere? That's so bots or bruters can't sign up or brute it. Since only humans can read the captcha.

You can find out more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captcha

But there's nothing to worry about, unless bruters already have the username and password then that's the only scenario they'll need and be able to brute the DOB, but by then it's already a security threat as they have your account :P - They can't get your password is the bottom line, it is impossible.

They've never gone from habbo? lol

and its only a DOB Bruter..

Although I do have a normal bruter.

I'd say it was your fault for having an easy password to brute.

Yes they're back

There's only 1 public one, it's not bad though

Loads of people confused, let's get this straight.

Password bruters used a list of names (of the hotels users) and a password (habbo123 or whatever...) This then logged into every username with that password. It took its time if you had a big list. How it did it is simple, loads the habbo login page and submits it. It isn't an instant operation. It doesn't work now, Sulake thwarted it by adding a security feature. On a few failed login attempts it requires a security code to be entered, so automated bruters wont work.

DOB bruters work similar. You need to be on the Habbos account that you're bruting. It runs through all possible DOB combinations. This still works, as far as I know...

It isn't. It's an exe with no GUI, it's all coded but to open in a command prompt. I run a server for GTA : SA and it's graphical interface is the command prompt.

For Messenger (as in the program) I'm not sure but I swear I saw a program the other day for bruting MSN... MSN as in Hotmail, sure. Although I don't know if it uses the security code, I don't use it.

People don't make habbo bruters for themselves. They mainly do it because they know how and will become 'popular' by making one. Making a habbo one is just sad though tbh. They are making one for little 13 year olds trying to act 'l33t' and terrorize a virtual chat by stealing virtual furni. Its not something to be proud of, its something to be embarrassed about.

I don't encourage hacking at all, I'm not making out hackers are amazing and intelligent, but they have more sense than the person they're hacking, some of them must be though to come up with tools like bruters.

If you find everything sad about Habbo, why not leave? You may try and look good cause your insulting the 'addicts' and calling them sad, but at the end of the day your on a Habbo fansite.

Yes but it is still sad for the person who made them for habbo. Most likely a kid will be the one who gets hacked so thats why I'm saying its sad.

Its like an internet version of pushing a kid over and stealing his money.

Also i'm not calling people who are addicted to habbo 'sad' I'm saying 13 year olds who wanna be leet and make up tags when they use someone elses program to hack into habbo accounts. They are just sad scriptkiddies
