To be fair I didnt think it was THAT good of a game, too prolonged and repetitive for my liking, I would of definitely had Halo3 at the top but there you go, agree disagree?

i woulda thought SMG would of, because of its amazingly high ratings and funness. Ah well.

Are you serios? Bioshock had the best campaign i have ever played. I think it deserved 1st. The only downside to the game is that you can't replay your missions and there's no split screen or multi-player.
I wouldv'e thought halo 3 would have beat bioshock overall though

I dont know I just never really got into it as much as other games, I think it was probably because i was really unwell while playing it so it was very stop start lol but I would rather have had Halo to be honest.

I didn't like Bioshock either guys. Really dissapointed me. Although I wouldn't call Halo 3 game of the year either...

Yeah, i think it must have been judged on the campaign of the game. Because nothing beats halo on xbl :8

I know this is completely off track but now every time a xbox game is mentioned as being the best, I always think to myself "My how gta4 will demolish everything" lol I seriously cant wait to see how amazing that game will be.

Bioshock was an amazing game but I wouldn't say GoTY

Call of Duty 4 deserves that title, no other game this year beats COD4 in my opinion.

I dont see why, it isnt revolutionary in anyway and much of the campaign was 'more of the same' anyway, I bought it on PC and was less than impressed.

Bioshock deserved to win, it was an excellent game and no other game I've played this year is anywhere near as good.

Well deserved in my opinion, Bioshock is one of the best games i've ever played. Call of Duty 4 is great, but the campaign is short and abit weak, although the fantastic multiplayer makes up for that.

I'm surprised it wasnt criticized for lack of online and multiplayer, but it's a decent game. I feel COD4 and SMG are both better though.

I have to agree. I feel Bioshock was over-rated. Art style and story was amazing but the shooting felt weak..

KOTOR stands for Knights of the old republic. Its an old star wars game for the xbox 1.
