Our approach, from the beginning, has been to give some props and tools to allow users to express themselves, and they have used them to create mash-ups. There is some pretty exciting stuff. Third parties - not just users - will be able to create stuff, but it will be a mash-up of using web technologies and client technologies as well."

Habbo will be launching some new tools so that users can build props and accessories themselves, but wants to retina some kind of quality control over what ends up in the environment and will moderate what is built. Taken from

V19 will be interesting I guess, the furni will be different to what we've usually had I think.

IE: maybe an API for a room command such as, :kick x (as the old hobba command used to go) that room owners can create their own. (client technology)

As well as linking the Habbo homepage (web technology) into already made API's and allowing more and more users to create features.

Ya thats what I meant "build props and accessories themselves" It's the "themselves" bit what makes me think its the v18 update but could be wrong with the build props bit, but we'll see when the time comes. :)

Should be released on the 18th, v17 was released on the 8/10 then v18 was released on the 13/11 which is 1 month and a bit later so this version should be coming on 18/12

I'm 100% behind Sulake's idea of Furni-customisation!

*chuckle* I can't wait till Sulake release this if that happened, I would truly think there was a god in the sky and in fact, he plays Habbo Hotel daily.

It doesn't say anywhere about making your own furni :S "Props and accessories" are things you hold/wear.. so it will probably be something on the page where you update your Habbo look or something, I dunno we'll soon see I guess.

Think of the space this would take up on the servers aswell or w.e The hotel would be well laggy. And think of the glitches. They had to remove the trax machines last time, cos they messed up...

the props & accessories, if they did meen furni which i dont think they do, would probably consist of being able to create furni along a guide, creating new versions of normal furni then having default names like Custom Furni or something like thtt..

new tools..... mass pick up, room ban.... something like them ....

I agree, most likely festive items or something like that.

What i would like is to read your console messages without logging on the hotel because sometimes im browsing the forum and i close the client and people send me messages and see the 2 Messages flashing on the home page and i just have to open it so i think that would be good.

I think its new room commands, and if not, Its the clothes you can customize, putting lines on your clothes, it was on the v18 thing, they released the clothes but not the one where you can add lines and stuff.

I said that at the start of the thread and I believe it is, the quote that says props and accessories was posted in the source on October 2nd - I would say that it is the update we have just had, with the new clothing accessories. Nothing new, but only time will tell. :)

Also, I'd like an option at the bottom to hold up small signs like the thumbs up, or stuff like BRB. Because I always have people talking to me while I'm gone, so I think it would be good to let people know when you are away.

Well they're going to need something to replace badges sooner or later (or at least decrease the volume of which badges are thrown at Habbos for logging in :rolleyes:).

tbh, Habbo has lost its theme. All of these updates have like just ruined hotel tradition! It was OK when updates were every few months but not its just updates, updates and more updates.

I'm fed up of all these niggly update when they aren't even capable of running them properly because of loads of glitches and faults.

I could name at leats a dozen things that need fixing off the top of my head - albeit small things, but they build up.
