My COD4 disc, apserloutly screwed!

I put the disc in today and it says "Disc unreadable". Im like? WTH? Take it out, theres this perfect scratch circle around the disc about half way into the disc. Is this with most discs? my xbox?... or am I just unlucky this time? Advice please.

Sounds like your Xbox has a fetish for trigonometry. :P Shame that, it happens so much yet you can't really get them repaired. If Microsoft did a disc-repair service, they'd be much more popular.

Go to Gamestation and ask them to repair the disc, it costs £1 and takes up to 60 seconds to repair I think.

Well, they do. But it is only for Microsoft Published games.

cleaned (Its £1.99, Or at least it is in my local shop)

Happens to me all the time, if you have the disk in there and you accidently tap the XBOX or run into it, or anything really shake the desk, it will scratch it.

Those ones you buy that cleans them, doesn't work hardly at all.

i dont know how so many people get their disks scratched all the games i have work perfectly since day one of getting them

I remember when I tripped on a cable and my smallish tv fell on my xbox (original). Must be pretty solid as it works fine with just a few scratches. Funnily enough I think my COD: Finest Hour was in there.

Good luck getting it repaired, hopefully it will be fine.
