It really depends on how often.

If i went shopping with my mum she'll spend a good 200 for that 'day' only.

SPOILT BRATS!!!!!!

WELL, now that i'm edging towards getting that much older, I tend to only get around £100 spent on me. It's usually me who has to fork out all the cash to buy the folks presents.

I miss the days of getting hundreds spent on me.

ditto to that. i don't really get presents either, i just ask for money so i can buy waht i want.

in my honest opinion anything about 250 is extorniate. it's one day a year, and i'm sure if they wanna give you like 800 as someone said above, it'd be far more sensible & practical to spread that 800 over a year. the phrase "more money than sense" springs to mind.

Well this year I was informed I was getting £75 which I think has gone down dramatically so I'm going to have put together everyone's money to be able to afford the Xbox 360 I want...

I don't see why it's gone down, my Dad now gets paid a little more at a better company, and my Mum got a promotion to manager? :P

I do get spoilt with designer clothes by my mum, but frankly I'd rather I got a better Christmas present.

Dont be spoilt jordyNo it's just the fact it's gone down for no apparent reason I've been told. If I got £75 every year I wouldn't mind, it just disappoints me as I knew what I wanted but now I'm going to be squeezed for every penny to buy what I wanted.

Wow.

If my mum has been doing overtime.
I get £100.

And my dad always gives me £100.

They are split up, So this year about £200.

If they were together it would be halfed though.

Some people with £500??

Sorry, But that is spoilt.

I live in a rough area, I see my dad twice a week, And my mum works her socks off to keep this house running, and some times struggles with bills, Sometimes I treat her to takeaways out of the money I make.
And she never asks for a lot off me, when i have a wodge of money.

So therefore I am grateful for ANYTHING I get.

Also, I only have 3 other relatives buying for me.

So i dont get that much actually.

The rest of my family are dead =/

last year my dad gave me £100 and my mum bought me a laptop. so it varies every year i guess.

but i think its stupid how kids use christmas as an excuse to rince their parents dry. its a known fact that too many people spend too much money at christmas that is needed, hence why the news is always going on about how families are in debt after christmas. im grateful for whatever my parents give me, as im like that. if i was given
£10 and whatever, ill be grateful as throughout the whole year, im giving what i need and want to some extent. the original meaning of christmas now-a-days has just totally gone out of the picture, and its just about getting presents :/

before anyone calls me spoilt, the reason i get alot of money spent on me is because during the year, most of the things bought for me, and bought by myself, with the money i earn.
so yeah, they like to treat me i suppose :)
