ive always wondered why i get more spent on me at christmas than my birthday.

The reason is that i believe this is because your celebrating someone elses 'birthday' (quotations because jesus was born in september or something and catholics stole a roman holiday) and someone who might not even be real.

whats your opinion on this subject. at least its your birthday and you know you exist, even if it is little sometimes :P

I get more at Christmas.

My birthdays are usually pretty uneventful, I'm afraid :(

My 18th won't though. I'll make sure of it :P

More at Christmas, however with the driving lessons, provisional licence and other things mum got me this year it's probably the opposite.

Birthday because when it's my birthday my parents don't have to spend anything on anyone else, whereas at Christmas they do.

It's not a Roman holiday, it was originally a Pagan holiday. However, agan Romans when the Roman's came over made it more popular. This fun quote pretty much sums it up:

"We celebrate the re-birth of the sun, not the son."

I definitely get more at Christmas than on my birthday. I guess Christmas is about giving, whiile birthdays are more just celebrating.

Christmas, supprisingly.

I always thought it made more sense to get more on your birthday since it's buying stuff for only one person.
