I am on the text anytime tarrif and just topped up £30 as they phoned me saying I would get unlimited texts for doing so...

I check there and I have still only been given 300!

Even if I didn't get unlimited texts, I should have received at least 1000!

I am angryyyy lol, gonna phone up tomorrow and complain to get it sorted!

Happened 2 anyone else?

I'm on pay as you go but if I top up £10 a month I get 300 free texts, £30 I get 1000.

But whats happened to you has happened to my mate he complained and they gave him 1000 on top of the 300 he already received.

Yeh I am on the same thing as you, where I have always been topping up £10 and getting 300 texts. But it's changed now that if you top up by £30 you get unlimited (10,000) texts rather than the 1,000 and thats the main reason I did so.

The same thing happened to my mate last month and he phoned up and just got given the right texts, so I'll ring them up tomorrow and see what goes down...

Give them time, sometimes when i am owed 1000 or more texts, i will get 300 first and then a few hours (24max) i end up with unlimited, if not, phone them up and ask why.

Metric.

"unlimited" texts for me = 1000.

I used O2 when I got my first ever mobile phone (Nokia 3330). After that phone I got a Virgin Samsung, the texts are much cheaper. Few months ago I brought a new phone which is Samsung E900 on O2 - In my opinion I very much prefere Virgin than O2. I notice faults with O2 - Their customer service is not very good for one! Texting prices is not my cup of tea (even though I hardly use texting now).

Lol I phoned up and complained this morning. He said not to worry as they will be put onto my account before 6pm today (they still aren't on yet)...

If not I'll be phoning back up! :P

I was like "And why should I have to spend 25p on this phone call for something that is your fault? Basically I am getting charged more credit to sort something our that shouldn't have even occured!"

Lol grumpy me in the morning + probs with my mobile does not go down well! :P

Grrr. I ended up getting my texts last night but they had only given me 1000 rather than the 10,000 I was supposed to!

So I had to phone up again this morning and complain but the guy was nice and helpful and got it all sorted out for me! :) I was also refunded for my calls lol.
