View Full Version : I could never be a dad.
Well my neighbour came over to chat with my mum and she brought her baby. I was looking after her for her for about 2hours and omg its just so hard not to worry. I mean, i couldnt keep my eyes from looking at someone else coz i just thought she might hurt herself. If i became a dad i just wouldnt be able to stop worrying especially if it's my child.

Parents always worry about their childern it's a natural thing. Since you were trusted in looking after someone else's child this is more or less the same thing. If anything it would make you a good parent because of it :).
My Mum has just had a new baby (My new brother) and it has put me right of becoming a parent. When i have a late night because am watching television and i want a sleep in. I cant anymore because i have him waking me up at half 7, lol. And the crying just puts me right off. But i know what you mean, when were sitting their and we think "Where is Jack?" (His name) Am straight up and trying to find him incase i think he has something sharp/dangerous, turns out he's just sleeping but its just that freight of that they dont know the dangers in the world and whats dangerous gives me that freight about them. You had the baby for 2 hours? Try everyday, lol. My sister is very good with him and never leaves him alone which is sorta okay because you know he wont be in any danger.

Nemo's life story, out Christmas Day! Be sure to buy a copy!
I think thats how everyone feels, He-Man. Who would want a small child to hurt themself? Unless it's some sick twisted person, no one. ;)
Although children are ANNOYING.

I had to take care of a 3 year old in a feild with 2 fully grown horses in it, on my own. I managed it fine. He had to stay with me, couldn't let him fall or go over to the horses...
My brother is just reaching 1 year 4 months and climbs up and down the stairs like their is no tommorow and we dont have a banister/guide on the side and its just a fall and we always jump when we see him up their, lol.

Well, I was going to release 500 copies on christmas for a reduced price of £8.99. Then when 2008 comes, it will go up to £14.99.
You'd end up sleeping with your kid when he's about 5 anyway, best if you don't become one.

Maybe you should practice with a doll.
'Baby wee wee' is a good emulation of a new born baby.

yeah but still i don't agree with it
it's unfair on the kids really, it's not a natural upbringing and every child deserves that.
and the fact i'd be a crap dad LOL

It's okay, if you aren't a girl babysitter at least you won't end up shaking it to death.

I agree. I do the same thing with other children that I'm looking after. I'm afraid something might happen but when I'm looking after family, it's fine. I'm not afraid, I feel more comfortable. But, if it was my kid, I'd be worried too but I would feel more comfortable.
