Some great games in store on a good day of football, here are the MAIN matches starting off with:
The Premiership
Derby VS Boro (15:00) - Derby need to pick up the points against struggling Middlesborough, who need to keep up the pace after their shock 2-1 win over Arsenal

West Ham VS Everton (15:00) - The Hammers will look for revenge on Everton after their 2-1 Carling Cup quarter-final win mid-week

Sunderland VS Aston Villa (15:00) - An interesting game, as Sunderland have slipped in the table lately into the bottom 3, and Villa will look to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Pompey last week with a win to keep their good run going
THE OTHER PREM MATCHES TODAY:
Birmingham VS Reading - *15:00*
Portsmouth VS Tottenham - *15:00*
Wigan VS Blackburn - *15:00*
Man City VS Bolton - *15:00*
Fulham VS Newcastle - *17:15*

Championship
West Brom VS Charlton - A huge game as both sides could go top of the table today, that's if Watford slip up at home to Argyle *SKY SPORTS*
Burnley VS Preston - Strugglers Preston travel to Burnley, who are getting back on track up to 8th place
C.Palace VS Sheff Wed
Coventry VS Southampton
Blackpool VS Stoke
QPR VS Wolves
Watford VS Plymouth
Ipswich VS Sthorpe
Hull VS Leicester
Bristol City VS Cardiff City - A nice little derby for both sides in which both will be desperate to win
Colchester VS Norwich *SKY SPORTS*
League 1
Hartlepool VS Crewe
Millwall VS Oldham
Forest VS Northampton - Forest could go top, if Swansea lose & Orient VS Carlisle is a draw
Bournemouth VS Gillingham
Carlisle VS Leyton Orient - A HUGE promotion game, as Carlisle have a game in hand over Orient, so it's crucial that the O's go there and win. A Carlisle win would send them top if Swansea slip up, an Orient win would put them top, IF Swansea slip up and if it's a draw, it leaves things wide open for Swansea, Forest, Leeds & Southend to take advantage
Swansea VS Southend - The pressure is on for table-toppers Swansea, as they face 6th place Southend knowing that a loss would put their position at the top in serious jepordy. For Southend however, there is the slight possibility of going top for them IF all other results go their way
Swindon VS Brighton
Port Vale VS Tranmere - Port Vale need to bounce back after their embarrising 1-0 loss to non-league Chasetown in the FA Cup
Walsall VS Leeds
Huddersfield VS Bristol Rovers
League 2
Wrexham VS Brentford
Bradford VS Rotherham
Rochdale VS Notts County
Accrington VS Chesterfield
Peterborough VS MK Dons
Maccesfield VS Stockport
Bury VS Hereford
Lincoln VS Barnet
Darlington VS Chester
Shrewsbury VS Dag & Red
Grimsby VS Mansfield
SUNDAY
The Premiership - GRAND SLAM SUNDAY
Liverpool VS Manchester Utd -Man United look to pounce on 1st place on Sunday, as a win over their arch rivals & Chelsea doing them a favour at Arsenal will mean 1st place by the end of the day. Whilst Liverpool need to get their campaign back on track after their Champions Leagues heroics mid-week
Arsenal VS Chelsea - Table-toppers Arsenal look to keep their lead at the top with a victory over Chelsea. A draw or a loss at the Emirates though will leave United with the job to beat Liverpool. Chelsea have been going well, unbeaten in the Premiership under Avram Grant since his first game in charge where they lost against Man United
League 1
Doncaster VS Yeovil - 7th place Donnie Rovers look to go 3 points closer to the play-offs on Sunday, with a great game against Yeovil. Town on the other hand lie in 9th place, needing to continue their run of wins to stay in contention of the play-offs

So I'll keep you posted on all the afternoon's happenings! :)

oldham done us a favour by beating millwall 3-2
and forest scoring in the 90th min to stop northampton taking the three points.

we sit bottom but with a game in hand and thats against millwall who are just outside the relegation zone.

so not all bad i surpose

Lost 1-0 to the referee today

Uriah Rennie should never referee a game ever again. We should have had at least 3 pens. In the last minute a defender blocked a shot by diving on the floor and sweeping it away with his hands. If that isn't a pen I don't know what is. Steve Thompson shouldn't have been sent off from what I could see. We beat them in every department and can be proud of our performance. They don't deserve to be in 3rd place and Lee Trundle is crap he couldn't hit a barn door from 2 yards.

I think Bristol City fans had a nice run while in the ground. Keeps them fit.

Carlisle 1-0 Leyton Orient :@:O:S

:D. A very good result today, even though we weren't really at our best for 90 minutes. Orient didn't do much in the first half and they only really had one shot on goal. MBW was close with a couple of free kicks for us. Joe Garner opened the scoring with his 10th goal of the season on 50 minutes when the ball fell to him in the box from MBW's corner. That's how it stayed and although Orient had all the pressure in the last ten minutes, we held on and went second in the league behind Swansea - who we play next week!

You won't take that many to Leeds, 'cause they are only allocating clubs 1,700 tickets. Unless your chairman wants to pay for 2,900, or the full South Stand... but he won't do that 'cause he will have to pay up front for them even if you don't sell them all.

We will easily fill their South Stand which holds 5,000 when we play them in April if we're still up around the top 6.

Vicky; 'Feed the Goat' was what City fans sang to Shaun Goater me thinks...

Alan_Carr
