Thats one thing i would never do, risking your own life and getting money from it, I'd rather be claiming benefits than be in the army.

goodtimes (;I actually cant be bothered with after school education, Because if you study IT, you would have to stick with IT for probably the rest of your life, I wouldn't mind doing something like mt brothers friend done, Worked at tesco express full time from 16-17 (brought a car and paid it off) Now he does jobs with Vending Machines, so he's doing quite well in life.

Yeah i totally agree with you there, It's better to get on the property ladder earlier than later though. But think about it you will have a car before everyone else in your year, and you will be showing off, but they will have a house before you :P

Sounds just like my life now. 17, in a full time job, learning to drive, got a car, paid off the years insurance straight up, pay parents keep, do loads of shopping. It's a quality life!

Thats one thing i would never do, risking your own life and getting money from it, I'd rather be claiming benefits than be in the army.
Being in the army is something to take pride in, although some squaddies are complete ****heads, there's nothing to be proud of claiming benefits when you're fit to be in a job.

Haha, I basically just want a car, wouldn't mind a Cleo or a Punto and just go clothes shopping.

Puntos are the way, I got a Punto a few months back and they are so so so nice to drive. The steering is incredible, so smooth!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Christmas first of all. Then hopefully passing my test sometime next year & then continuing life as it is with the same company hopefully getting promotions & then meeting my soulmate & marrying her and having about 3-5 kids to be honest!

I work at the brewery in my town, just a 20minute walk every day so nice & local. I work in the transport office & have to deal with transport related stuff, like how the beer goes out and which draymen(beer delivery men) go out on which lorry etc! There's so many quality people there and it's such a laugh. You have more responsibility than at school but people treat you like an adult, and don't down-talk you like they do at school. Leaving school for the job was the best decision of my life.

I pay £100 a month, which is pretty good. It covers the money that my parents lose when you leave school ('cos all parents get money when their kids are at school, child benefit, every parent gets it based on their kids being at school) and it isn't much to pay a month so I'm happy with it.

I take home £1275 a month but then I pay tax which is about £150 and National Insurance which is about £90. You only pay tax once you've earnt like £5000, before that you don't pay tax. I'm on good money considering I'm only 17 & this is my first job.

I know, I'm so lucky but I don't let the cash go to my head. I usually end up buying mates pints when we're out, like if they're still in school & don't have much money!

Thats like me. I take home roughly $2200 a month. I don't know what I loose to tax. I pay $625 a month in car payments, although now I pay $1100 so I can get it paid off faster. I have roughly $500 in credit card payments each month, and then what ever is left I put into savings. I am 17 and this is my first job.

I'll borrow a lot of money and also used the borrowed money for life insurance then buy what I want and when I die my insurance will pay the debts!

(only joking)
