I dunno if it true or not..but you can change the traffic lights

Ok if you are trying to cross the road and waiting for the lights to change then go over to the button and click 3s 2l 1s 2l 3s

s=short push on the button about half a second. l= long about 1 second push. so when I say 3s it means press it three times really fast. Have fun with this and dont get stuck waiting again.but pmslllllll

That may work because when we are in a rush we press the button under the light and it does tend to change quicker.

That works at the crossroads near where I live, but only if there are no cars coming in another direction.

The turny thing does work on some traffic lights near me? And does flashing lights at traffic lights work?! I must try this next time it is late and I'm driving :P But I am sure traffic lights recognise ambulances and police cars using a different method

I assume the button they're talking about is the normal button you press to bring up a waiting sign and to say you want to cross.

Hmmm, not sure where any temp. lights are around here, but if I see some I'll have a go :P

I think this is made up, traffic light switches are mostly older than this type of technology and by the time you've finished it would have changed andway lol.
