I accidently deleted my setup on TehUpload, so I thought I would post it again. Not the best setup.. but whatever.


Main Desk:
the old monitor on the left, is like.. from 1998? The newer black CRT got moved to the media center.. I'll post that later.

The wires go down under the floor, the subwoofer is next to the computer, with all the speaker wires coming in (computer has 5.1 surround), the blue wire runes up to the wireless node above my desk.

Some wires go down under the floor, to the network switch, one wire goes up to the wireless antenna.

Yes, get red ones, they'll increase your fps in Crysis. Blue LEDs will give you 1337 haxxoring powers and green LEDs are virus-protection.

It's probably just a marketing gimmick anyway. My 1080i TV was advertised as full HD, however it only has a res of 1366 x 720 or something like that

Large case, packed with bits and bobs. It might be ATX+. I'll look it up. Hasn't got any fancy bits, I don't pump a fat lot of money into it.
ATI Readon 9600XT replacement graphics card (the other one fried).
6 fans in total, annoyingly loud. >_>
Two TFT's, both iiyama (one's ProLite E43OS (no idea what size, 17" possibly) and others AS6436D (18")) they where dead cheap and do quite nicely.
Creative Inspire M2600 speakers (sub hidden behind the screens)
IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0 USB, I know it's old but I love the little red light!
And some reject keyboard which looks horrible but is nice to type on.

What language is it in? Got any pictures of the office as I doubt they would allow a 14 year old have access to a remote database - as I certainly wouldn't trust someone that age, and especially of your calibar.

They are just cable ties. Loads of places sell them. Best bet is DIY sort of places.

It's got short and long ties in blue, red, yellow, green and white.

And I wouldn't recommend doing it if you move bits of your setup around alot. It gets annoying to remove them. I only did it because I HATE having to neogociate all of it whenever I want to plug cameras/iPod's etc in and I never move my setup around.

It's a rule for teenage nerd-... computer users that a tidy desk presents more of a issue than a messy one.

I'd post my home setup, but seen as the PC's melted, I've ripped everything up and out, awaiting my Mac Mini (1.83Ghz, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, OS X 10.5, hooked up to 200GB external for Time Machine/music) :D.

Here's specs of current setup:

Apple PowerMac G5 10.4.11 1.8 Ghz (1GB RAM, 200GB HDD)
Samsung SyncMaster 940BW, 19".
Logitech X-230 hooked upto a Creative Xmod hidden behind the PowerMac, makes it sound amazing.
Apple Wired Keyboard & Mighty Mouse/Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0 (whenever I can be bothered to bring it from mum's to dad's.)
Not too nice, but it all works nicely and I've never had to service or hack open any of the parts.
