No, because stuff like this happens all the time.
Someone claims to know that Ness is in, someone sends a fake roster...
There are a ton of rumors.

Although it's definitely realistic in terms of characters (except Megaman... I don't know how much of a chance he has - the demand is definitely there though), I don't think it's real.

I don't know about the rest of you but to me that means "Ness has been in the previous smash bros games but will not feature in this one (replaced by Lucas, he has all of Ness's moves anyway)
