Whole Internet suffering?

First please don't move this to the technical forum as I am not loking for technical help.

It's been happening to everybody today! My school was suffering from internet problems and couldn't load very much and missed out on almost all the pictures on a page. When I got home I couldn't and my brother also had trouble connecting and it took me over 10 minutes, It's still going slowly.

I just started listening to habbox live which I don't normally do any more and the DJ just said he was disconnected from habbo. Another game server which I tried to connect to is down as they are having connection problems.

Anybody have any idea of what's going on or if it's happening to you?

Chances are that it your area that been affected ;)

Could just be a coincedince, the ISP your on may be having faults and then others will just be coincendinces

My school's got an isp based in Belgium or luxembourg and the game server is in America. I'm in London.

Yeah, I've noticed recently school is VERY slow and Bebo when I click a link sometimes comes up with page not displayed, AND my internet keeps cutting through the day (about once a day) on my router.
