Okay, I starting to get desperate. It's happened to me three times in a year now (these periods range from a month to two months).

I log in, the sulake bar loads... but then it nearly finishes...

http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/5866/nearlymt7.th.png (http://img170.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nearlymt7.png)

It gets so close but instead the bar freezes and it shows a new one

http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/6379/stoppedue4.th.png (http://img117.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stoppedue4.png)

Does anyone know why and how I can stop this?

Few things that might help you explain

I use Internet Explorer 7
I use Virgin Media Broadband
I deleted my cookies etc twice.
I went on www.habbo.co.uk/client.action (http://www.habbo.co.uk/client.action) - didn't work
I tried the .ca and the .fr hotel - didn't work
I've had this problem 3 times - fixed after two months last time (I hope to fix it myself and not have to wait for so long :()

Try this:

take out all wires connecting to computer, modem, phone line etc then put them back in.

If you are using an extension wire you may need to replace that as they dont last very long

lol @ start getting desperate bit...

Have you tried a different browser? i.e. Mozilla Firefox?

If that don't work ... try what I posted in another thread - http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=4275980&postcount=30

Pretty pointless :P
Unless you have nothing better to do.

Many people have had this problem recently, re-install shockwave and it corrects itself.

That's the thing... they don't ;)

Dear Habbo,

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties logging into the Hotel.

There may be several reasons for this. Broadband connections have something called a contention ratio, which is the number of people that share each "pipe", so when your ISP says you have a 2mb connection, you are actually sharing a 2mb connection with a number of people - the number of people is the contention ratio. At peak times, evenings and weekends, there are a lot of people online, and so you are sharing your connection with more people. This can lead to interruptions in accessing your chosen internet site. This may be the problem you are experiencing. In these cases, we would suggest that you persevere in your attempts to connect to Habbo.

If you are experiencing connection problems outside of peak hours, please reply to this email giving details of your PC setup, in as much detail as possible so we can attempt to help you further.

Best Regards,

"Hi Habbo,

Thank you for sending an email regarding an access problem. There are many reasons as to why some people have trouble connecting to Habbo Hotel but the common reason is a shockwave error, which can easily be rectified by reinstalling shockwave on your machine. We ask that you try this solution first.

To remove/uninstall shockwave, you can download an official shockwave uninstaller here - http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=SWUninstall&P2_Platform=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=SWUninstall&P2_Platform=Win32&P3_Browser_Version=MSIE)

To add/re-install shockwave, please follow the following link -http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/

Below you will find a list of some of the other potential reasons for your access problem. We ask that you try to rule out as many as possible so that if your access problem continues we can assist you accordingly.

- The hotel may be full, in which case we advise you to wait a few minutes then try to enter again.

- You might be banned from Habbo Hotel by a moderator. If you see a “Hobba Alert” box popping up which prevents you from using Habbo Hotel this means you have been banned. In most cases the ban length will be 2 hours so we suggest waiting for this length of time before sending us a reply.

- Your computer may be out of memory. Try restarting it. Also, make sure you don't have too many other browser windows/programs or applications open when you try to use Habbo Hotel.

- You may be behind a firewall. Please make sure you talk to your administrator about having specific ports opened on it, so that you may use Habbo Hotel.

If you are still experiencing problems accessing Habbo Hotel after reinstalling shockwave and restarting your computer then please reply to this e mail so that we can assist you further. You may be interested in viewing our technical support site in the meantime - www.hobtech.net (http://www.hobtech.net/) "

I've done everything that they've said tbh.
