Free DJ Panel Licenses!

Hello, I will be giving away free licenses for a DJ panel that I am creating. I am creating this using PHP, HTML and MySQL databases.

I will only be giving away 10 free licenses. This is a christmas gift from me to you. The panel will be done soon, it will have more features than any other online DJ panel, hopefully. I am really working hard on this and I will try my best to get it done by christmas, but if it is done by christmas, it will only be a BETA version.

There are still hundreds more features to come. If you want a free license for when it comes out, please send me a private message. The first ten people will receive a free license when it comes out.

I will then contact you when it is finished. You will get a free license when it is finished if you are one of the first ten.

If you have any ideas for the DJ Panel, please do not hesitate to send them via. private message or post on this thread. Please share your ideas. I have been looking everywhere for ideas and putting them in a 'TODO' list.

If you're planning on selling licenses then you have no chance in the panel being successful.

Because of the simple fact that there are hundreds of better coders who are making panels as well. (But their panels are free).

Hello, no worries, it will be cheap. I will be adding hundreds of features to make it worth buying. At the moment it is not even half way done. It will only be about £1.00 - £2.00 a license and I might even accept Habbo furniture or credits, Runescape items or gold or BittyBay items or bits if people ask.

I understand that there are hundreds of free ones out there, but I am trying to make more features on it than any of them. It will take me quite a while, but when it's done, it will have been worth the effort and time put into it.

This will fail. Nobody is going to want to pay for a DJPANEL when there is Radio DJ Panel, Kristall-Panel, PowerPANEL released and working pretty well.

Maybe if you made something like HSP before OoJamaflip and lolwut did it, you could sell licences as there isnt alot of them out.

But theres DJ Panels on 'every street corner', they're too common for people to pay for one when they can get one free.

I suggest you make it free. With the amount of good DJ panels out there, no one will want to buy yours.

I would stick to giving them out for free.

Hello, thanks for your opinions but it is not opinions that I want. It is ideas and people applying for free licenses that I want. I am sure that it will not totally fail. I will make this DJ Panel totally unique with hundreds of features. No-one is going to stop me and no-one is going to change my mind about charging for it. I am sure that people will not mind paying £1.00 - £2.00 for a decent DJ Panel.

Please do not leave anymore opinions as they will be ignored and you will be wasting your time. Feel free to leave ideas and send me a private message asking for a free license.

Well thats your opinion, and you are entitled to that, and my opinion is that your an idiot.

You will never become a successful developer with that attitude, if you are making (free) products for the community, you need to listen to what they want in the product, not what you want.

Plus your a licensing it, which means if it doesn't have the features they want, they are going to waste their money on your "******" panel, that only has what you want.

Sure, if you want to post a link to a BETA, that's fine. But it's a waste of time in making these threads when half the projects will crumble into tiny pieces in the coming weeks.

Everyone above is right too. You are not going to make any money by creating a project that has already been done many times, with exactly the same features for free. What could you possibly add to a DJ panel? Sure, you might be able to experiment with SHOUTcast interaction and the like, but still, nobody is going to spend money buying it. It obviously won't be of professional quality, considering you are spending all this time defending yourself on a thread instead of coding. Nobody is going to take you seriously, unfortunately. In my opinion, don't bother giving updates, don't bother posting replies to this thread. Create what you wish, then show the community for feedback.

I'm actually looking forward to looking at this new project, so what if he wants to charge for it, wherever he does or not is none of your business, if your not going to buy it then you shouldnt be so critical.

Most of the people criticising couldn't code to save their lives so really you should shut the hell up.

Leave the guy alone, wherever the project fails or not really doesn't make you lose sleep so give him a break.
