Well Habbo.ES doesn't just support the country of Spain, it supports lots of South American 'Spanish' speaking countries. In South America, most the countries speak Spanish and it saves them creating multiple hotels speaking Spanish. I'm not sure of the statistics for people speaking Spanish in the world, it's about the third most popular language I think...

So credits will be available to buy from most them countries, however it is rather odd as most of the countries are 5 hours+ behind are time zone, but Spain is a large country in it's self anyway.

This works much like Habbo UK is the official hotel for Ireland (www.habbo.ie), and Habbo Brazil is the official for the Portuguese and so on ;)

i went on habbo.es a couple of hours ago and therer was 12000 people on. geez 9 million visitors in the past 30 days is a lot! over here on habbo AU we've only just reached 1 mill.

In NL the ratio of inhabitants with a computer is much higher.

I live in Spain and I play .es.

Most people on it are from Spain. Some are from Bolivia, Columbia etc. but.. I would say the majority as spaniards. You can tell (the language is different)

Not all 60,000,000 are teenagers that play Habbo. Lets say, that 5% of all 10 - 20 year olds in the UK play Habbo.

10 - 20 year olds are 18.5% of the whole UK population, which means, we're saying 0.925% of the population plays Habbo UK. Which, is 555,000 teenagers. I'm sure that the pecentages in Holland are much higher, because in the UK there are alot of rival chatrooms, whereas in Holland, there isn't that many, therefore making Habbo one of the most popular to use.

I think Habbo is very popular because of the joint-venture Hitkrant.
Hitkrant is one of the biggest/most read teen magazines in the NL & BE, and it even delivers in summers in other countries like Turkey, Italy, Spain...

The latin american countries are on now, as the times are 7, 8 and 9 in places Like Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Colombia, Puerto Rico and the latin part of the USA (As they tend to use .es as opposed to .com)

Well that's because AU is xenophobic.

Anyway I dunno where these figures come from. I'm fairly sure .nl only reached that mark because it was often used as a beta hotel for new releases and so has a lot of registrees from other countrys.
