Yes but i would have to take maths, resistant materials and triple science then also have to do an extra year at uni.

Whereas at college i have to do manufacturing engineering and maths and then im sorted :D

It would depend on the uni course usually it's

gcse maths, english, relevant subjects at as/a level and UCAs total points
