Don't give me that, "ANOTHER DJ PANEL" mess, I am one of the first to create a DJ Panel and release it on HxF.

The login for Housekeeping V2 is done for the BETA stage, thats all that is done right now, it includes the following:

AJAX Login, including inline error reporting, and inline success reporting.

It logs all login attempts to a table including information about the user submitting, I will also include a "Login Attempts" feature so after 5 login attempts the account is frozen until the user reactivates it VIA E-Mail message.

Check it out for yourself,

Username: test
Password: test

Play around with incorrect/correct password combinations.

Tell me what you think,
Caleb

Now includes staff online with color coded depending on user-level. Does not display staff on visible.
Now includes banned user error, and banned user system.

Permission set not found for test?

Also, I think maybe you should of gone for a more web 2.0 design.

Hrm, Sexy! The blue fits well, loving the AJAX!

Possibly be able to hit "enter" and it allows to log in? :)

Very nice Caleb!

The login FLOOD feature is now done.

After 5 incorrect login attempts in ten minutes, the user is locked out from logging in.

After that ten minutes he/she may login again unless an administrator unlocks the account.

Fixed, I was working on the JS input, you can now press the enter key for the form to submit.

There was a bug for the flood control that if you didn't have any previous failed logins, it errored, that is now fixed.

Surely a user could just clear their private data and attempt to login again?

It is not based on a cookie or session system, ;) So clearing your private data wouldn't work.

When you clear your private data, and then refresh it takes you back to the login. Shouldn't it just come up with the "You have been locked out" message?

I know you cant log back in until the 10 minutes are up, but I think it would look better just so the user knows they cant log in.

Also I presume it puts your IP into a database with a timestamp (considering each login is logged) then if 5 logins that are incorrect appear in the table it locks you out for the 10 minutes from the last incorrect login?
