Wow, you must have some sort of god server with 1gbit upload to handle that. Or atleast quite a few dedicateds with ALOT of ram.

Seriously, that isnt possible (well is) but not for cheap. So if I was a perspective buyer dont go with him because it will just chuck listeners, lag and stuff. It happens too much on shoutcast sellers.

But if you do have amazing specs and have proff I appoligise and would say go for him. (Only if he has the specifications).

Ah fantastic. Fancy dumping a specification sheet and a speedtest just for some evidence? Because I cant see how you can be affording that server and selling those shoutcasts cheap, it defy's me. Although saying that, maybe we are all in Hogwarts and magical things can happen.

I wait to be enlightened.

Edit: Sorry If I seem harsh. But, theres nothing worse than someone who rips you off. I can't see how 1 server like that can do 2500 at 320kbs without any problems. Im sorry, i just cant.

Edit 2: anychance of you using speedtest.net. Because in the past people have photoshopped them and put them on imageshack. Speedtest.net are hosted on own servers, so no modifications.

Just did some basic maths for people.

Ok say he's got a 100mbit connection (like most dedi's)

100mbit = 100000 kb (ish)/ 320 = 312 listeners

200mbit = 200000 kb (ish)/ 320 = 614 listeners

How the hell is the "2500 Listener At 320Kb/s" gonna work?

Just to let you know my arguement, so it doesnt look like im randomly flaming for fun.

Listen, I myself provide shoutcast servers. And yes its possible to make a server like that and yes it will run fine. But you wont be able to have that amount of listeners all at one time - seriosuly if you can get that many listeners on without any drop outs then wow you must be somesort of holy figure.

But no, not gonna happen. I take it your not good at maths because basic calculations of the uplink speed on the server would mean you can't handle that amount.

Btw we are still waiting on a specification dump, and that speedtest image from speedtest.net.

Thank You, and so far everything you have been saying it just driftwood that your holding onto so you dont sink.

EDIT: I posted this 4PM UK time and no demo is up. Although you probs meant american time. Actually its 6:15 american time, so that didnt really work. What have you got to hide? I mean you wont even post your prices up......

Also about the Kb/s that just per second. So my calculations are still right - say its 100mbit/s it would still bw 100000kb/s!

lol.

Thanks,

Matt C

Stop raping your shift key! It's annoying me. I really doubt your server can hold such big shoutcast servers, it's basically impossible... I have never seen a professional host sell such big package.
