Terracing isn't crap, even if it doesn't look as good as seating, some people prefer to stand and I think every ground should have at least some so people have the choice.
Brunton Park has lots of terracing :8. 3 stands are mainly standing areas :P.

What a ***...
Like Grainger said, 3 sides of Bruton Park is predominantly terracing. Sure it's something like equating to spaces for 8,000 supporters.
The best terrace in the world has got to be the Warwick Road End, though... or the South stand at Dortmunds Westfalenstadion (sp?).

Isn't it mainly the lower league clubs that have terracing anyway?

Yeah, there ent no prem teams with terracing is there atm i dont think..
Most league 1 and league 2 teams have some bits of terracing, i'd want it at Cobblers, cos we can get larger crowds etc

The Premier League does not allow terrace in any of it's league grounds. Fulham played with terracing for one season as they had plans to build a new ground. If we got promoted we could play at our ground because there is a new stadium being built.
There is only 3 teams in the Championship that have standing - Cardiff, S****horpe and Colchester, I think that's all of them anyway.

Teams are allowed it as long as they get rid of it in a certain amount of time. Watford had it and still do, even though it doesn't get used.

I know it's three years for the Football League if you're ground is below standard, but I don't know if that's what it is for terracing in the Premiership. It could be :)
