What add-ons can help me?

MetaMap (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1978/)

To install them go to Computer > Program Files > World of Warcraft > Interface > Addons and paste/extract them there.

Once you've got WoW loaded, in the bottom left on the character selection screen there should be a button click it and tick 'enable all' and 'use out of date addons.'

How will these help me?

With MetaMap you can put it on so it shows all unexplored areas which is helpful for newbs to get around. It also uses co ords on your map which can help you with quests.

FuBar just tells you your durability, gold, latency & how much bar space you've got left. It's very helpful :).

I didn't even know about it because I'm new lol. I don't like MetaMap much because everytime I log on I have to select view un-explored.
