Hello,

Please could we have a rule that any images posted apart from ones in the Post your Desktop thread be limited to a size such as 1024x768 or 800x600?

For example:

http://habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=438809

I am on 1280x1024 and those are rediculous sizes...

I personally think this would be a good idea, your views?
Tom

I kind of agree but that person did put it under a spoiler.

I don't think we need more limits, They put it in a spoiler so your screen was not constantly expanded, just click it to close and back to normal.

As people have said, it was in a spoiler which was good of them to do.

other people don't use spoilers and its actually quite hard to see what the images are until you zoom out anyway

yeh i just zoom out all it needs is a simple hold of alt or shift or ctrl (forgot which one) and then its easy to view

1. people might not have scroll wheels
2. I don't think you can do it in Linux, don't know about MacOS

i think just a rule to have oversized pictures in spoilers would do the trick

Oh please.

They make sure the text in our signatures are size 4 or below.
Now you want a them to put a rule on images?

Soon, you won't be allowed to post without it being checked by the Mods, then passed on to an admin, then to Sierk then to the CIA.

the size 4 text thing was introduced because it made people have to scroll through a ton of signature just to get to the next post which does get tedius

Right click on the image and click view image (or properties, c+p the URL into a new window), Firefox or IE will resize it to fit in your browser ;)

Is it to hard to ask for you to just avoid looking at pictures you deem to big? The rest of us who dont have 800 by 600 as are desktop resolution can then carry on as normal...

Im runnig 1280x1024 on a 19" Monitor and I don't see why pictures have to be so big that even at that resolution, you still have to zoom out to 400%
