what do you think about the new direction they're planning to take with their music?
like the dance-y side.
what do you think of their song 'flux'?

just wondering what peoples opinions are on it :]]]]]]

I really like bloc party, flux is really good but I like some of their older stuff (such as banquet) as well.

Flux is awesome. I love that song. It's probably the best song of the year, in my opinion. I like alot of their songs, especially, flux and helicopter.

if you read the NME article they said it isn't going to be their new direction. they were just trying it out to see their limitations or something along those lines

personally, i quite liked it, i like my electro beats and when you combine it with bloc party's amazing lyrics i think you get a nice combination. i hope they don't decide to go down the dance route and flop =[

they said theyre not going to ditch their art-rock/indie sound and 'flux' was just an experiment. anyway, 'flux' is awesome and so is 'silent alarm'. 'weekend in the city' was meh, some good songs, some boring ones.
