who you playing?

we're at home to yeovil who are doing quite well but we're at the kenny and on our day we will beat anyone there.. key game for us because if results go our way and we get a result we'll be out of the relegation zone heading into the liverpool tie in the fa cup.

Hartlepool - we'll lose.

key game for your promotion hopes

lose that and its 3 on the bounce isnt it?

Grainger@CUFC
30-12-2007, 07:29 PM
Yeah it will be. I think Bridge-Wilkinson's suspension is that game too so that will be a big blow. Ward's tactics are to blame for the two defeats in my view. When you keep all eleven back for set pieces there's something wrong.

Alan_Carr
30-12-2007, 07:29 PM
Yeah it is, cos they lost yesterday aswell as boxing day ;)
We've got Millwall at home, we should win.

We do that.

We have Plymouth at home. The way we've been playing lately we should beat them. Another early kick-off. FGS.

Jordie
30-12-2007, 07:53 PM

Aflux
30-12-2007, 07:56 PM
Yeah it's pretty much a win-in-play-offs match I reckon.

We need Price to get back on form and if Green played as well as he did yesterday we'll win again (:

1-0 to the Rovers - Jason Price - A miracle 4th straight win?

Leeds 3-0 down to Oldham at Elland Road!

Forest 1-0 down at home to Huddersfield so if the scores stay like this, Rovers go 2nd!

Jamie!
01-01-2008, 04:29 PM
We won 4-2 at home against Hartlepool... about time we bloody won and all! Still wasn't a convincing performance, but aslong as we're winning, I'm not particalarly bothered to be honest. What's more - Swansea were all held to a draw at Swindon, and Forest/Leeds are both losing at the minute, so we're sitting in 3rd as it stands. Just hope Walsall can come back and take points off Donny, if they do, we'll be upto second.

Oh, and just to add... sack all your Adebayor's, Yakubu's, and Tuncay's off... 'cause Joe Garner ****** all over them. :D

Damn were 2-1 down to brighton although i didnt expect anything out of todays game tbh

Just I was writing that, Forest went and equalised... so we're down to 4th now as things stand.

Doncaster are solid at the back at the moment.

Or not, 1-1.

Jamie!
01-01-2008, 04:37 PM
Aye, they're looking like a good bet for promotion at the minute. Walsall are a good side though, wouldn't be suprised if they got a goal back.

Our game down Donny on the 12th of this month is going to be a massive game if both teams are up in the top 3/4.

EDIT: What did I say? ;)

Cardiff 1-0 Plymouth

Lost 1 in 7 games. Who said anything about relegation? After our performances lately, we actually have something to aim for - promotion. If you can win scrappy games against teams like Plymouth, who wouldn't be out of place in an rugby match. It just amazes me how none of our players were injured.

Forest 2-1 :(
Aye, I will be. Great little (i use that term lightly :P) stadium with good facilities. Loved our game there last year, 1-0 down after 3min, but we came back and won 2-1 thanks to 2 of the best strikes I've seen watching Carlisle.

EDIT: Unlucky Carl, just noticed Brighton have scored a winner in injury-time, 94th minute or something?

We got robbed in the last minute by Millwall at home, Gary Alexander equalised in the last minute.

Poul Hubertz got sent off for us for an alleged elbow, and one of theirs got sent off aswell, cant remember his name though, Morris or sumin like that
They deserved a point, so oh well.

Our midfielder Brad Johnson was dropped after rumours that he is set to sign for Coventry for £300k soon, which is a good deal for us :)

Good win for Ipswich @ home.

2-0 Vs. West Brom is good going.

Tevez injured today? May spark even more reason for Fergie to make a move for a "top-class" striker..

And we got it back to 2-2 to then throw it away from ANOTHER set piece in the last minute. We would have 10 more points than we do now i reckon if we could defend set pieces

beat yeovil 1-0 and we absolutely battered them:P

still we got the key 3 points but im not that hopeful because teams are coming in for our players and its only the 1st today 2 bids rejected so far
but we'll keep trying and pushing. This sunday should be rather interesting though:P

bring on the scousers:P

0-0 game with orient where we played the better team, 2 chances to snatch 3 points in the last 4 mins of injury time after the 90 but was denied

gillinghams first 0-0 for about 107 games in all competions was a good run :(

Your having a laugh. They're crap. How they are up there I have no idea. We got robbed by the ref when we played them. We absolutely slaughtered them.

We didn't play very well but we still won. It was a very scrappy encounter. Plymouth just fouled and fouled and timewasted and fouled and fouled and timewasted and fouled. Schmeichel saved us in the last second, again.

They got up there by accumulating more points than the rest of the field.

hold on to our players which is highly unlikely yes we'll stay up
sell them we'll get relegated and we'll have to start all over again like before

Well the first half was awful yet again and we were lucky if I'm honest. Westwood made a brilliant save before their first goal, but no-one was backing up so they scored straight off the rebound. If it wasn't for Joe Garner we'd be nowhere. 13 goals for the season now :D. I think now that he['s cut out the nasty challenges he was making it's made him a much better player - he just seems more confident now for some reason :). Vale on Saturday and I'm not going to say anything to tempt fate .
