It doesn't matter if they paid or not because that rep will still be helpful. All those that paid will have a higher rep power than most people. I cannot imagine anyone leaving over rep.

This has been in discussion between management for 2 weeks. I did not just randomly decide to change it ;). I also spoke to other big board admins regarding this matter.

Admin rep power is fixed. All admins have 15 rep power. If we have more or less than that (on our actual accounts) we still stick at 15.

Management run the forum and deal with the problems. The rep system has cost us a lot of time over the past few months and weeks because it was abused so much. We are finally trying to make it work like it is meant to.

We cannot disable the rep system because of the fact people paid money for rep. We could refund them etc but that would take too much time and effort and some people are using the system as it is meant to be used anyway :).

Because it is what has to be done to make the system worth anything. People had 50 rep power which was crazy because if they repped someone enough times in a week, that person would also be going up rep powers fast too.

add me to your petition thing, the new rep system is stupid... the original spreading 20 times to rep another member was ok, but now 30? c'mon, thats stupid. also 1000 points per rep power... thats ridiculous, the person highest at the chain (neversoft i think) would have to rep the person like 80 times. and in my opinion, the management should have there rep power moved down to atleast 10.

Buying VIP is actually one of the most effective ways of getting points now. Unless it has been changed (I havent looked) then you get 15 rep points per month purchased.

You gotta be kidding? It's impossible to get 1000 reputation points. The reason being that most member now only have 1-16 reputation power. How can we get 1000 reputation? It would take a while. 5000 posts? Do you understand how long that takes?

Reputation Blocks
You need 100 reputation points for 1 reputation block - You also need at least 100 posts and 30 positive reputation points before your reputation is activated.

That basically means most of the new members will never get there reputation activated. - sarcasm. :rolleyes:

Other -Once you have repped someone you must rep another 30 people before you can rep the same person again.
-You may only rep 5 people a day

You might aswell disable the system. There is seriously no point in having it no more.

This is a load of crap! Bad move by Habbox i think, alot of people who had high +Rep will have dropped to someone who had no +rep with the same.
