Hi

I have a problem with something that is usually rather basic. When I was my hair I dont mind what shampoo I use so I just get anything thats there, idk like tresemme or something like that (and conditioner). So I wash it, dry it etc but if I do it at night and wake up in the morning it is like :o an afro kinda its massive. I have hair around 3 inches long. I dry it with a towel and thats all. Am I doing something wrong? Why it is afro like lol.

Also, the back of my hair is wierd. Its like straight (ish) at the front and kinda curly at the back and it doesnt look right. I try to brush it down etc but it doesnt do anything, so how can I help that?

Help much appericiated :)

Are you using 2 in 1 shampoo? conditioner and shampoo combined in one?

Um most you can do is straighten it really. Or try shampoo for thick/curly hair.

Okay I am going to type this slow so I won't screw up typing...

Do you have thick hair? If you do then try what Virgin Mary said, or just leave your hair in a towel at night. Maybe it's because you sweat in the night?

I dont sweat in the night, but when i go to bed after being in the bath its sometimes wet, so would that affect it? I feel like if I straighten it it will look like a girl lol idk..

Then when you sleep on it is it wet?

If so then it probably rubs together like your hair does and creates static and makes it stand... or it just could be the humidity in the air... it could be various things..

everyone sweats during the course of a nights sleep!!!!

ok my hair is very similer i have to use an ionic hairdryer and then ionic straitghtners i natrally have rianna hair cut and is short so maybe that will help and my trick is to wash your hair in the evening and blowdry it and then when i go to bed it prevents it going lyk and afro it. tbh my hair has always been like this and its because my hair is very thick so maybe think about having u hair thind out abit hope this helps :D

I guess I'm lucky to have long straight hair, and don't have your problems, but I do know some shampoos just don't suit everyone, like tresemme makes my hair feel thicker, when it's not what I want. Sleeping with wet or damp hair isn't good for you either. Visit a good stylist, who will give you some helpful tips, and maybe even recommend a style that best suits your hair type.

Yea im going to town sometime tommorrow maybe with mates I think I will get a haircut, but dk what style yet would they have like a book with pics of styles in there?

My hair is expecially thick when I use tresemme so I will use something else. I sometimes use a hairdryer to dry hair before going to bed and it isint as frizzy in the morning.

Thanks for all your advice :D
