I will be using the spell Humidify, which gives the same xp as High alching, is cheaper and is faster, I will also be combining it with the spell magic imbue which gives 86xp per cast.

Starting level is 83.
Hoping to get 99 Mage by the end of this month - mid February.

What does imbune do? :P
Magic Imbue allows you to combine runes without talismans, but I'm not gonna combine them just cast it for the xp.

Ancients - Which is ice barrage ect.
Lunar - Thoes spells above
Normal - The book everyone has

Well the majority of them cost 132ea because of the update, but I got some before for 120ea and yep thats what i'll be doing.

what staff u using for that?
Steam staff supplys fire + water runes.

I would but it's hard to make profit from it now so I'm just going to use 2 buckets fill one then empty the other etc.

Still works out cheaper than alching yew longs.

Hmm I don't really count lol but it's about 70kish.
I can do 1000 casts in 40minutes which would be 68k.

I'm not sure about the imbune, but its like the charge spell you cast it then you have to wait for the affect to fade, luckily with imbue it fades in about 2 minutes.

EDIT:
If I can do 68k in 40minutes, half of 40 is 20 and theres 20 minutes remaining in the hour that'll be 102k xp an hour roughly.

I find it's more fun as there is more to do, you have to move your mouse rather than just keep clicking in one spot which bores me, but you can do 2 casts of humidify in the same time as 1 alch so it's faster.

Also people often ask me what spell i'm doing as they don't see it that often thats why I go sit in the bank on moonclan island as theres not many people there. :)

Humidify fills vials/buckets with water but im just using 2 buckets and keeping one filled at all times.

The steam staff gives me unlimited fire + water runes. :)

Well i managed to get most of my Astrals before the update, when they were 130ea.
Now they are 152ea so it's costing me about 16mil.

83, Also Jagex have just given me a 10 day ban for using third party software as all i've been doing lately on Runescape is standing in the same spot casting that humdify spell.

Hopefully they will see the mistake and i'll be unbanned sooner.
