What is bullying:
basically it is where a induvidual or group pick on others, including calling names, hitting etc. due to there age, race, séxuality, body figure, or something they may have done.
Why do people bully:
Alot of bullies, bully other people because there trying to hide something bad about themselves, or maybe they have been bullied, or something else is wrong, alot of bullies don't actually realise they are bullying, and dont realise how much its affecting the victims.
Things that victims are likely to do:
If you are being bullied, below is a list of things you might find yourself doing:
Crying [ You can get very emotional, and react to the slighest things ]
Acting 'Boringer' [ Sometimes you can act a bit strange like not want to go out, or going to bed earlier, things that you would usualy find Boring ]
'Clniging' To People: [ You can sometimesget very attached to someone, like your parent or someone at school ]
Making excuses not to go to school : [ If the bully is at school, the number one thing you will do is bunk off, do NOT, this is silly, and basically, your gonna get found out and it will not make things better ]
If you find yourself acting strange, its ok, your just under pressure
How to stop bullying
Ahh!, now the biggest question, firstly, personally i would tell a parent or family, as then its inside the household and you've got it off your chest, rmeember your parent or family will listen if you say not to interupt yet because your not ready
Now you have it of your chest, try and make the most of your time at home, Going out and playing, or going out with your parent, Try and arrange a date with your parent, something like you go to the cinema every wednesday, so then you have something to thing of!, also counting dwon the days to a weekend helps, like 3 days to go, because it goes fast
Now, if your ready to stomp out bullying, Tell a teacher, or your pasttoral teacher of lifestyle teacher ( Someone who sorts out everything liek bullying ), Remember if you want tell them to keep it a secret untill your ready, you can have meetings with this teacher, go along with your mum, if anyone asks make up an excuse like 'it was about my attendance' but act cool remember, now remember your teacher won't just step in and tell the bully, they DO think on, so when your ready make the crucial move, tell them to go ahead, they will maybe, call in the bully and talk, or maybe move him to a different form, rmeember your not alone there might be alot of other people and parents complainning, REMEMBER you will remain anonymous, So the bully won't know that it was you atall, Then the bully should be dealt with
To Make Clear:
Crying is ok, maybe go into your bedroom and cry out your heart, it will get it off your chest, if a parent gets worried, tell them its only to get it off my chest, they'll understand
You contorl the movements, rem ember, people won't make any sudden moves untill you feeel ready
and, Enjoy your time at home more, go out with your parents, make arrangements so you have something to look forward too, and counting dwon the days untill the weekend is normal ;)
