[THE BIG WEEKLY QUESTION] Reasons

Howdy everyone, this week has been a bit hectic for me. Getting a few holidays managed (Lanzarote this year), and also saving up a bit. 2007 was a great year for gaming and it looks like the golden age will continue with Super Smash Brother's Brawl and Grand Theft Auto IV looking to be the two conquerers of 2008.

Anyway, we've had a lot of 'DO YOU THINK THIS GAME WILL BE GEWD?' and 'HAY GIUYS WUT IS THA BST THIN OV '07 LOL'

I wanted to take time out and explore a piece of gaming which isn't explored much. Why do you game?

I game simply to get away from life, just seeing another world which you can explore and create things sometimes *COUGH* LittleBigPlanet *COUGH*.

I've been gaming ever since I can remember really, and I've at least one console from every generation since the 4th.

I game I guess because it's fun, and as Purpleness said, its a sort of getaway from life. When I game I'm not Jordan Shipton aged 16, I'm Tommy Verceti, Crash Bandicoot, Nathan Drake. And recently, to meet worldwide gamers, own them, and make new freinds.

my first games machine was an omega. then i gots a Mega Drive, then a PSX, then a PS2 then a Wii, then a 360 (:

Nah really, I game because obviously I enjoy it and it's a great past time.

A great plot makes a great game i think.. otherwise its just bangs and explosions

I went from Snes to PS2 to 360 excluding handhelds.

I game as a pass time , something to relax and get me out of everything :)

I game becuase its a fun thing to do when you cant get out to be with mates, and becuase quite a few people I know game so its good when you get into matches with them etc...
