SnowStorm Competition

I had an idea that we could have a snowstorm tournement.

Basically about 16 people enter and they play 1v1 against someone else.


Then it goes into next round with 8 people then 4 then 2 until there is finally the winner.

All Semi-finalists win a Habbo Rare or some Rep?

The Contestants would be the first 16 (or however many) to reply to the thread to sign up.

The Winner would win a prize. (Probably VIP)

To see what the score is - Both players screenshot the scoreboard at the end and PM it to the Judge who is doing all the placings. All the matches would be given numbers so it could easily be done.

E.g

Match - Number 1
Players - Blah and Bing
Score - 56-42
Winner - Blah

If one screenshot is different to the other, Both Players will be questioned and play suspended until one of them is declared the winner.

Basically you throw Snow Balls at the other player and the player with the most points wins.

Might be a good idea.... but sounds a little small scale for the amount of users on Habbox. Unless you have say 5 or even 10 of what you said... and all the winners go through etc etc.

Also, instead of the screenie thing (as that's guaranteed to cause arguments), just have judges who watch every game (for those who don't know, you can watch a game without being involved in it).

And btw, you probably get points: 3 for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a lose (like in Football leagues)... although people would complain then because high scores are ignored. So perhaps you could record the actual scores of the games...

...unless you just want to have winner goes through.

It'd be nice to hear from the events team on this, they'll probably be the ones running it.

Yes but never battleball :p

I think habbox run events using the games on habbo could be good but the amount of entrants we would get would make it hard to organise and even when you do your best you would be let down by no shows.
