if you have a mate called Jason who got one for free, he probably gave something in exchange or is lying and he paid. You are NOT going to get 50 listeners at 128 KBPs for free. Lots of hosts don't even sell 128 KBPs because it can lag the server if broadcasted on often...

You have to offer something in return, otherwise people will laugh in your face.

Thanks for breaking the spam chain.

That is the site that invented SHOUTcast software... it'll show you how to DJ, how to host SHOUTcasts and stuff like that but won't host them for you.

There are free radios around but they're extremely terrible bitrates, about 5 max listeners and the uptime is about 5%.

Consider the prices on http://shoutcasts.tech-hosts.com :)

Or offer something in return for a SHOUTcast...
