My coursework for this term consists of designing a website for tourism aspects of London, its going to be something like this (http://www.visitlondon.com/#) but on a smaller scale, im using HTML-kit to make it and because im not very good at it i need some tips and answers to some questions, im using this (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_fonts.asp) website for codes and help etc.

When i make the template what dimensions should it be? and is there anything i need to do to the template other than just inserting the url code of the image?

How do i put the website onto the Internet once it is finished for free?

Are there any websites which you found more helpful that the one i linked that im using?

www.dynamicdrive.com (http://www.dynamicdrive.com) is good for little bits and pieces, and to put it on the net for you you'd probably have to signup to a free webhost, unless some kind soul from the forums offers to host it for you :)

http://www.funky-chickens.com/ is excellent if you're a beginner

If you really need I could hook you up with a sub-domain eg yoursite.reconixsite.co.uk

Depends on the type of layout, if its to narrow you could center it aslong as you have a background

and is there anything i need to do to the template other than just inserting the url code of the image? You need to 'slice' it so that it can expand etc

Use a free host like freehostia.com or x10hosting.com. Altrnitivly you could ask in the free reqests forum
