Well I have this friend who is a guy and we was really close and spoke to each other all the time and we was always together. He is now going out with someone and he never seems interested when I talk to him. I care alot about him and we seem so alike in somethings. I would never go any further then just friends though. Anyone got any advice on what I can do because I dont think he knows how much I care about him

This is a common problem, and it's the guy's fault, not yours, so don't worry about that :)
Most young lads (I assume you're both young) are pretty desperate for a girlfriend, for many different reasons, and while I'm certain he prefers you to the new girl, you're not prepared to take things further than 'just friends'.
I was in a similar situation when I was younger, I was really close with a girl, and I liked her a lot, but it was clear that she didn't feel the same. So I when I was at a party, I started going out with another girl, mainly just to try and get rid of the 'romantic' feelings for my friend, so I could go back to being friends with her without having the feelings in the way, and the friendship would improve.
*Maybe* he's doing the same?
And I apologise for the long post :)

Kinda same thing happened with me, well the one girl I was like practically best friends with for ages, then all of a sudden one day she just decided to become best friends with this other boy. Even though we were like really close an all. However its all sorted now, She did it to someone else before me, well replaced him with me. I just dont talk now, its better off that way, if a so called "friend" can simply stop talking so easily then why should you bother with them. Its pretty obvious that the either:

1. Couldnt care less about friends.
2. Maybe you said something to someone that you did realise was harmfull?

Hope that makes sense now :P
