You have a lot of lessons then :S Unless it is one lesson per week.

Because 6/7 choices is a lot..

Read more carefully? It's including the CORE subjects Maths, English, Science & IT.

I wouldn't choose a language.
I did P.E. History & Drama.
Like them all but if your school has Photography as an option, I'd choose that over History, probably.

I chose drama and business studies and for the language i chose french. I had to do the core subject and desing and tech also.

Unless you find coursework easy i wouldnt chose drama. It is a nightmear :P.
Business studies is interesting and would help in later life by helping managing finances and if you ever had a business.

Choose something that you like or the next 2 years of your life will be hell.

It really depends on what career you look for? or your general interests?

i took ICT GCSE, Art and History ^_^

our "core" ict just near enough involved us doing other subject work in the lesson really. My lessons i was able to get up to 4 GCSEs out of it, all 100% coursework doing DIDA. Unfortunatley the whole class only came out with 1 :P but it was really good and gives you a lot of skills which are required for most jobs.

Art was just a lay back lesson for me really. I had no real skill in model making, drawing or painting, but i still managed to come out with a C. The sketchbook work is extremely important to keep your grades good. So if you like doing sketchbook work then yeah :P

History was a joke for me xD i spent the whole 2 years winding up my teacher :P some of the subjects are okay, like WWI and WWII which are the main ones really. Although i was more interested in the holacost tbh.

ive heard business studies has a lot of coursework and loads of exams.Music is meant to be hard too unless your really talented at it.

i dont know much more bout other subjects except french has lots of coursework too :P

Sorry...

I do business studies. At the beginning of half term we were doing like 3 Units with end of unit coursework and a final exam. But our teacher (also Dep. Head) switched the GCSE Course to BTEC which is more assessments/coursework but no exam, but is worth an equivelant of 4 GCSEs :P

P.E. is a waste of time; It gets you nowhere and nothing. You don't even have to take P.E. to be a P.E. teacher.

What are you wanting to be when you're older?

Business studies has 1 exam - Finance
And rest is coursework, but it is the most easiest coursework ever. Its just the teacher tells you what to write and you write it.

I really enjoyed business studies, if your school offers one or two day a week vocational courses at a college i strongly suggest those.

When picking your gcse's, don't particulary look at what jobs you want etc I think. See what your friends are doing and what you like and pick that.
