Holding up Hope

You'd think I make these titles like some sort of author, but I really don't because this is whats happened xD

Basically, I posted 2 weeks ago about how I split up with my girlfriend, I really thought I loved her and when I lost her I felt it was the end of the world. 2 weeks pass, and I think I'm starting to get over her and we're good mates! It's all working out so well I think, and I help her with her issues and she helps me with mine. It really is a cool friendship and we still do what we did when we used to be out with eachother, like late-night calling every night. :P

Moving onto the main point of this thread, today I found something out which erm, puts me in a really awkward position. She doesn't know I know this, but her mate said to me randomly "I HAVE NEWS!!!!" and I was like, what? Well this is where I find out something which has got me tied in what seems to be a bind of hope which I had once lost. My ex today said whilst she was texting me to her friend, when she asked who she was texting, "I wish I had never broken up with him..."

Hearing those words from her almost puts me in denial, she doesn't know I know but agh... I'm just not sure anymore. I turn to you guys for advice as to what you think I should do. I mean, I still have some sort of feelings for her but I'm not sure if they're the same as they were when I was truly 'stalker-style' loving her. >_< Plus I'm not sure if I should even ask her or confront her about it knowing her timid nature.

My ex boyfriend, took our relationship like it was a joke, and then completley cut me out, after I was entranced etc etc. Basically go back with her, you enjoy your time with her, maybe a break was needed? It seems worth another try in my honest opinion, if only mitch got back to me...oh wait. im not kool enough.

Hey ry, to be honest, she might of broken up with you cause she was scared of getting too close to you at such a young age. It's quite common to be fair, if it turns out to be that (ask her) then definatly try to get back together. If not, and she's just confused, and you go straight back to her without any questions asked. she's going to think you're easy to manipulate and keep doing it.

Judging by the last situation, i wouldn't get your hopes up, or jump in with a chance.
Since things didn't work out with her ex i'd continue to give it time I wouldn't just jump straight back in with her, there was obviously problems there before.
I'm not saying don't get back with her, just continue to give it time, and take some time to review your feelings.

Yeah... Well I'm going to see her face-to-face in Febuary so if I want to do anything, it'll be then. That's in 40 days time, oh wait, 39 judging from the morning... Oh the agony of it all, love sucks.
