Reg Hollis played by Jeff Stewart is one of the most well known characters in the TV series The Bill.

Jeff was recently told that his contract with ITV for the program was ending soon and won't be renewed. He then attempted to take his own life, who could love their job so much that they'd try taking their own life?


We've setup SaveReg.com as an online petition which we will submit to ITV and the production company, we hope from this that Jeff will be happy and stay with the program!

Reg is one of the very few original cast left in The Bill, let's keep him in!

I used to watch The Bill a long time ago, and I enjoyed it. Shame I don't watch it anymore. But I still remember Reg and I would happily sign the petition as long as this will definitely be sent to ITV.

I do not want my details sent to ITV along with this petition. - It may be easier to have an option "Do you want Reg in the bill: Yes/no" to save work on statistics.

I can understand that, this is for a good cause, in 2 weeks time all entries will be posted directly to ITV and Fremantle Media.

I do have a heart but I don't think you saying to others I don't have one when you don't.

I think you need to consider your own comment in all fairness.

I wouldn't trust you with a penny of mine Jason, let alone my email, name etc.
