I don't really code in vb but I'd just imagine you'd connect to the MSN Protocol using Winsock/Sockets in vb and then sent packets/etc ;S

Im sure if you visit the msgplus.net website, in their 'scripts' section, I remember seeing a tutorial or something, or tools that you would. ;)

Hardest bit if memoery serves is simply managing to navigate the logon proseager for your bot. Other than that its more down to how complex u bot needs 2 be.

Yeah it's a lot simpler than you think, it sounds complicated to some but not hard, as long as you know what the basic controls do/are. I've been learning VB for just over a year now but that's because my college project is based on it, I prefer Java, etc :) but yeah an msn bot isn't too hard (:

You'll need to use perl. Google has loads of tutorials.

You don't NEED Perl, there are lots of ways.

Perl is the most supported and advance way of using it.

It's like using Dreamweaver instead of Notepad with HTML etc.

Except perl is a programming language where as dreamweaver is an IDE....
