No you don't you only need a credit/debit card to verify the paypal account and i think theres a limit if you don't verify it you can only have transactions up to the sum of about 500 pounds i think it is so each transaction in or out is taken of that, and then you have to verify it.

I know vB is the best paid for forum but invisionfree + zetaborads are the best for free forums so as i am not paying for vb yet then invisionfree is the right one for me and i not saying that vb is rubbish and thats why i not buying it i will be buying vb soon but for now it invisionfree ok

I do belive (may no longer be true) you can actually remove all the ads that come with a free .co.uk, by simply disabling them somewhere within the options menus on the domain setup bit somewhere. Google may hold the answers to exactly where also.
