PS3 (playstation 3) VS Xbox 360

yes sony have revieled the ps3 finnaly and to me it looks amazing! but the controller is HORRIBLE!

xbox have the 360 coming out end of this year and this also looks great!

but what do you think?

The playstation 3 is apparently double the speed of the new xbox, plus i love playstation xD rofl Also i think it looks ultra cool and..i may be the only one to think this but i think the controllers are kinda...retro :D lol plus i like all the colours, but i think maybe they should do a clear, like the Xbox Crystle maybe? lol

I will be buying an Xbox 360 before I even consider buying a PS3. PS£ isn't double the speed of the 360, it's double the power. Which means bugger all if it's not tapped into by developers.

Xbox 360 is Extremely Faster then ps3 whoever told you that needs to buy a ps2, Xbox 360 didnt buy Final Fantasy and Xbox 360 and ps3 both have the same chip in so there games will be sort of the same but Xbox has a really better graphics card then Ps3 so I think xbox will be better

Having the same chip doesn't mean you have the same games.

The PS3 is faster than the Xbox 360, but as I said, it doesn't make it any better.

Well, unlike everyone else here, I'm not one sided.

Xbox 360 may not be backwards compatible.
Xbox 360 comes with optional hard drive

PS3 is backwards compatible.
PS3 doesn't have an optional hard drive.

They both have the same specs, but it looks like PS3 will be better because they have Nvidia graphics, which is what Xbox used to have. Xbox is going with ATI graphics.

My vote: Very close, PS3.

I'll buy both :D but it my vote goes to PS3. It has got better graphics than xbox 360, much more powerfull. Oh yeh the controllers are kool, they use blue-tooth saving time with un-tangling all those wires :@
However, Halo 3, thats gotta be good, I liked Halo 2 but I thought that the story mode was a little over-rated, playing Halo 2 online is the best!
Theres also meant to be a Halo Movie.
