The British ban on selling the violent video game Manhunt 2 was lifted yesterday.
Censors twice rejected the game earlier this year, saying it showed "casual sadism" and an "unrelenting focus on stalking and brutal slaying".
But an appeal by makers, Rockstar Games, was upheld by the Video Appeals committee.
A Rockstar spokesman said: "We are pleased at the decision. The game is within the bounds of 18-rated entertainment."

Unless censors take the case to a judicial review, the game should shortly be on sale in shops.

Yes because they're really going to put it on sale if it has no violence in it, aren't they?! What would be the reason in calling it 'Manhunt' if it didn't have any violence in? Christ.

He means stuff you can actually see, executions are filtered so when your executing someone the screen goes static and stuff blocks it but you can still see them sort of lol
I suggest people rent it, I got probably half way through the game and got bored of it

It mostly got banned for violence. And manhunt could mean hunting for a criminal. AND OBVIOUSLY THEY WOULD PUT IT ON THE SHELF IF IT HAD NO VOILENCE HAS GAMES LIKE VIVA PINATA GOT VOILENCE IN IT? OH THEY'RE ON THE SHELFS /SHOKING.
Get off this Forum. You only come on it to look bigger and better than everyone else, you've never posted in this section before stick to spam and go to school, you aint been in ages so you're not socialising and it's making you think you're ontop of the world ;).

Yes, but Viva Pinata is not a game that is meant to involve violence, Manhunt is to do with violence! Your comparison is not really accurate. Plus, how would you know whether the person has been to school or not?
Anyway, nice to see that the ban has been lifted.

On arouse they said they haven't been to school for about 9 months and don't plan to either and they get a home tutor every once and a while.
And "it" was saying they wouldn't put Manhunt on shelves if it had no violence .
And Alex calm down Mr. Two faced. Go outside, get some fresh air. It might make your ego come out from your behind.
----------------
And ontopic: I doubt it's going to be any good as Manhunt 1.

Home tuition every once and a while? Obviously, you don't understand the concept of home tuition, it's extremely beneficial. That doesn't take anything away from me, as I've already established that I am far more intelligent than an individual of your standards. What I said was right, what would be the point in selling the game if they had changed the entire structure of it? I'm sure people with sense will grasp my opinion due to the fact everybody who had played the game had established that the game revolved around violence, hence why it got the ban for it's vulgar and explicit nature. Are you dumb or something?
Not only do you fail at graphics, but you fail at putting up a decent argument also. I go outside plenty, if you consider going to school to be a social life then you're even more delusional than I originally thought you were. My ego is what it is - incredible. Now shut up, peasant.

No it's not incredible and you obviously don't go outside. And not only do you fail at duplicating a stock twice and adding some crap text and brushing a bit to make a border and getting erect over Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton but you also fail at life.
Now shut up, Rick Woller.
(Also love the fact you bought Graphics into this, some sort of sexual fetish of yours? you think you're the best at graphics but in your own eyes. You suck in my eyes ;).)
Wierd & Reported!
Goodluck brits on your new game :D!

I don't go outside? Wow, now I feel famous! My very own stalker, how delightful. What would be the point in duplicating a stock twice? Surely you'd have to set the blending option, but with you being a rookie you wouldn't know that would you? Also, I don't use brushes - they're for amateurs, darling. Your knowledge of photoshop is deteriorating infront of my very eyes! Erect, over Lindsay and Paris? For one I hate Lindsay and two, I just wouldn't over Paris - even though she's far better than you.
Rick Woller? Do you spell names how they sound or something? Idiot. It's Rik Waller.
How can Graphics be a sexual fetish? I don't think that is even possible...I'm far better at graphics than you, your past material shows that - now shut up you sack of ****!
