Lighters has always been 18 but most shops didnt know. 16 to smoke but 18 to purcahse i was told by a copper.

I work in Co-Op and any tobacco/tobacco related products (lighters/matches etc.) are now all 18 as far as we are told.

Some shops did and some shops didnt let you. For example im 16 now and can buy cigs from some shops but not from others even though im not ment to.
