Unsettling Dreams

I used to like someone and it got very serious and became very important to me. I then found out they didnt like me back and we became distant. It took me awhile to get over them (about 14 months) and when i finally did i met this new guy. We fooled around abit for 2-3 months then he asked me out. Its been awhile since i thought about the person i used to like but ive been having dreams about them. The first dream was when we were in a familiar alley way, in a taxi, and it burst into flames on the outside of the taxi. We were both obviously scared in the dream and then i woke up.
That dream occured about a month ago...

I went of a camp for 4 days and i just got back 2 days ago. i asked my bf to call me while i was on camp but he never did. Then the night i came home and went to bed i remember thinking of how ****** off i was at my bf for not calling me. I had another dream. i was walking down my street and i looked at the house i was walking past and in the window i saw the person i used to like. i immediatley turned around and walked back the way i came. i turned around and saw the person a few feet away from me crying. All of a sudden they pulled out a gun, shaking, and started shooting at me. i didnt move or do anything. then finally got a bullet hit me in my chest and then i woke up. When i woke up i had a sharp pain in my chest and saw redness around a hicky (that my bf gave me befor camp).

I thought it was funny how you stop thinking of someone you liked so much then as soon as you forget about them you have dreams about them.

There has been more dreams but i found these 2 dreams quite unusual.

I dont understand these dreams. And i dont understand why i dont have dreams about my bf and i. Yet i have dreams about the 'ex-crush'.
Can anyone help me out on this one because im just so confused and fustrated because im thinking i might still have hidden feelings for the ex-crush.

Dreams can be very strange and make you feel odd.

About the shooting one you shared. I had a dream a couple of years ago, it wasn't the same but I think I still remember it. I'll tell you what I remember.

Well, it was day and I was in the passenger's seat in the car. My father was driving and we stopped at a T intersection fitted with Traffic Lights. All of a sudden, it was night and we were still driving, but it changed to a high way and I was in the back seat this time. We were driving passed this police officer who was standing next to his car looking at us (I think it was a black car not sure there). So Dad pulled over and parked on the side of the road. The officer walk over to us and pulled out a machine gun and were shooting us. He shot Dad but when I looked at him he stopped and he took a few steps closer to the window of my side of the car. I knew he was going to shoot me too, so I tried to get my seatbelt off to get out, but I coudln't, I was stuck, so I somehow managed to sit up and tried climbing out the window I was next to and he pulled out a shot gun and shot me. I didn't feel anything there, but I fell out of the window and hit the ground (head first, OUCH!) Next thing I knew, I woke up and my head was hurting like hell, then a shock of pins and needles went from my head to toes. It didn't stay for long, but I wasn't feeling good at the time.

I don't know exactly what my dream meant either, but dreams are funny like that, I guess, and sometimes they get you worried. I think it just what you fear or maybe what could have happened that you didn't want to happen so much or maybe deep down inside you really do have feelings somewhere about that particular person and that could link to what has happened in the past with them, you just remember it and it's got on your mind because you didn't want it to happen.

Sometimes they tell you things and sometimes they don't, or you don't understand them completely or you might wake up and not remember the dreams you had. It's good to talk to someone, like your Dad or Mum or your grand parents, when you get strange dreams, especially repeated ones about the same person or the same situation or dreaming of something bad happening all the time. I hope sharing my dream, even though they don't exactly connect with what you dreamed about exactly, helped in the way that you're not alone with having unsettle dreams, I don't normally have them, but this one got me nerves going for a couple of days. :)

But yeah, I think it's just on your mind in a way, it's happened in the past and you could have worried about it when things happened in the relationship that could have caused this. But you never exactly know what you're going to dream about the next time you fall asleep. :)

I get what your saying and i appreciate your 2 cents. Your dream does sound a bit weird, as does mine. Its just that, i dont have these kinds of dreams about anyone else & i never have except for this one person. Im thinking theres something behind these dreams that could help me realise what evers going on. Just asking you guys to see if there would be anything to these dreams. lol :)

There could well be, and there might not be. I'm not sure if there is, you can never tell. I'm pretty sure this is just about what you are feeling or remembering because it's on your mind. There could be messages for you!and sometimes dreams do give doubting messages like that I guess. Maybe sometime in the future something between you and this particular person will come about, but it might not.

I dreamed of fire once, but I don't remember any 'hasty news' happening back then as fires also give messages that there could be 'hasty news' about. I'm not all sure how this works. Some of it could be apart of a psychic message, but psychic powers is a debating point.

So my main conclusion is, I'm not at all sure, but it does seem suspicious if your dreaming about it constantly. :)

I agree. It would be interesting to see what some others have to say about this.
