Yeah went to this one last night and ive gotta say even though liverpool havent been playing well recently they were brilliant, they wouldnt let us settle and we didnt have any chances just shows you how much they dominated.
gerrard makes the team tick and carragher as always is solid at the back which means a club like us found it impossible to get through.
felt a bit better on the way home when i heard nick owen and his consortium were taking over:)
and credit must go to the other 5,700 luton fans that travelled last night
sung the whole 90 minutes even when we was 5-0 down
up the hatters

Nice to see you're being positive about a defeat. And, I agree about Gerrard and Carragher, they keep liverpool together.. (this coming from a bluenose).
I've always liked Carragher cos he's from my area and he also does loads for the area and with the area. and his wife owns a gorgeous spa like 30 seconds away from me.

yeah lol cant believe he took EVERYTHING off
he'll never forget that and neither will the other 43,000 inside anfield haha
the consortium sacked blackwell and replaced him with luton legend micky harford who managed qpr for a short while.

U happy blackwell has gone? at some points u lot have loved him and sometimes u have hated him

mixed emotions
blackwell did well throughout all these problems
1 loss in 13 but then again some of his decisions were slightly clueless and luton fans were starting to lose their patience
harford is a legend and has the club at heart along with all members of the consortium so im kinda happy

I know this might sound stupid but it's a good result for Luton. They only had 16 players who were willing to play and they faced a Liverpool side who were nearly at full strength. Other teams in that position might have folded and lost 8 or 9 nil.

we held out for 45 minutes and they got what they wanted in stoppage time which was a bit unfortunate for us may have been a different game coming out 0-0 at half time.
yeah it wasnt our full strength side at all
the back 4 havent played together this season
robinson who came into midfield hasnt played for months
but i think we would of got beat regardless of who played on the night they were lethal on every attack and we wouldnt of been able to handle it anyway

Ah well, u got a bit of money, now concentrate on stayin up
Jordie

the side is good enough to stay up
like i said just the 1 loss in 13 but now we've lost 2 players and will need to overcome the loss of those two.. im glad no more have left because every player is important for us now.
defence is a problem though because we only have the 2 fit cbs
but we can ask the fa for special permission to loan a defender in
whether they accept or not is a different thing but we can try

Yeah very good result for Liverpool, they needed that to boost their confidence in the Premiership.
